Abstract:
To provide a heat insulating structure for a refrigerant compressor capable of improving warm water temperature and warming ability, without damaging reliability such as electric performance and by sending high-temperature high-pressure refrigerant gas compressed by the refrigerant compressor to a gas cooler and a condenser without declining the temperature.
In the refrigerant compressor 2 stored in a machine chamber 3 provided inside an outdoor unit 1 of a heat pump type water heater or air-conditioning equipment, foam resin 4 is filled in a space between the refrigerant compressor 2 and the machine chamber 3, and heat is insulated by covering the refrigerant compressor 2 with the foam resin 4.
