PURPOSE: To provide the heat insulating tip for a hot chamber die-casting machine for aluminum which effectively shuts off the quantity of the heat to be conducted from a holding furnace holding high-temp. molten aluminum to a die part for pouring and molding, adequately prevents the erosion by the molten aluminum, etc., and is excellent in terms of strength.
CONSTITUTION: This heat insulating tip for the hot chamber die-casting machine for aluminum is formed of a heat insulating member which consists of silicon nitride, sialon and aluminum nitride and at least one or ≥2 kinds of molybdenum boride and Ni cermet and is interposed between the die and a holding furnace side nozzle 1. A detaining member 9 is detained to the outer periphery of the heat insulating member and the heat insulating tip mounted to the die by a fastening means 10 is formed by the engaging member 9.
