Title:
HEAT INSULATION HEATING VESSEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3799376
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To save energy necessary for heating and to make the temperature in a heating vessel uniform by controlling the heat insulating performance by heating the inner surface of the vessel by a heat generator and cooling the outer surface by applying a voltage to an electrothermal element.
CONSTITUTION: The same voltage V as a thermoelectromotive force is applied between inner and outer surface terminals of a thermoelectric element 4, and heat dissipation is so controlled that the heat flux passing through the element 4 becomes '0β, In this case, since external heat dissipation from a heating vessel 1 also becomes '0', power used in a heat generator 2 to maintain the temperature in the vessel 1 is made substantially '0' after the temperature becomes constant, and energy can be saved. Accordingly, the temperature of the outer surface of the vessel 1 becomes the same as the ambient temperature, and since heat is not dissipated from the vessel 1, it is not necessary to circulate coolant, etc., even in a sealed room such as a glove box, etc., in which dangerous matters are handled. Since no heat flows in and out of the vessel 1, a temperature gradient does not occur, and the temperature in the vessel 1 can be accurately made uniform.
