Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a packaged heat insulation material into a use place, restore it to its original state automatically, and facilitate its handling, by performing a hermetic sealing process in such a manner that the heat insulation material is placed onto a lower sheet, the upper face and peripheral face of the heat insulation material are covered with an upper sheet, the sealing margins of the upper and lower sheets are superimposed and hermetically sealed, and the heat insulation material is made flat by degassing.
SOLUTION: Onto a lower sheet 1 pulled out, glass wool materials 3 are carried and placed at specific intervals. Then, an upper sheet 4 having projecting parts 4a formed in it is continuously supplied onto the glass wool materials 3 to cover them. Subsequently, a top die 5 is lowered so that each projecting part 4a of the upper sheet 4 covers the corresponding glass wool material 3, and also the part where the lower sheet 1 and the upper sheet 4 are superimposed is sealed under heat. Next, after the top die 5 is raised and the packaged glass wool material 3 is moved only one pitch, a cutting die 10 is lowered to cut the lower sheet 1 and upper sheet 4 along the sealed part, also a tube needle 11 fixed to the cutting die 10 is pierced through the upper sheet 4 to remove air inside, and the peripheral edge of the tube needle 11 is bonded.
