Abstract:
To provide a heat insulation wall body for a heating furnace capable of absorbing dimensional change in an inner cylinder due to thermal expansion, while suppressing the relative positional deviation in the longitudinal direction of the inner cylinder and an outer cylinder.SOLUTION: A heat insulation wall body 1 for a heating furnace of the present invention comprises: a cylindrical and bottomed outer cylinder 2 having an annular flange 21 extended inside along an opening face 2b; a cylindrical and bottomed inner cylinder 3 disposed inside the outer cylinder 2 and having an annular flange 31 extended outside along an opening face 3b; and an annular elastic seal material 5 held between the flange 21 and the flange 31 outside the outer cylinder 2 and sealing a decompressed space formed with the outer cylinder 2 and the inner cylinder 3 from ambient air. The elastic seal material 5 has an annular elastic body 51 and multiple fiber bodies 52 radially oriented in the radial direction of the annular elastic body inside the elastic body 51, and the multiple fiber bodies 52 are arranged in the thickness direction of the annular elastic body 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
