Title:
HEAT- AND MOISTURE-RETAINING APPARATUS FOR FOOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005349094
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a heat- and moisture-retaining apparatus for foods, even if a food is frequently taken out from a heat retaining storage, prevented from easily deteriorating the eating quality of the food.

The inside of the heat retaining storage 3 is divided by partitions 4, 5 and 6 to form a plurality of small heat retaining storages 7, 8 and 9, and the respective small heat retaining storages 7, 8 and 9 are provided with independent doors 11, 12 and 13. When the food is taken out, the food is taken out from a same small heat retaining storage till the food in each small heat retaining storage is out of stock so as to prevent the deterioration of the eating quality of the foods stored in other small heat retaining storages. The volume of the small heat retaining storages 7, 8 and 9 is sufficiently small compared with the whole volume of the heat retaining storage 3 so that, when the doors 11, 12 and 13 of the small heat retaining storages 7, 8 and 9 are opened, just little amounts of heated air and moisture-retaining steam flow to the outside. This constitution can shorten a time required for recovering the temperature and the humidity inside the small heat retaining storages 7, 8 and 9 to proper values so as to suppress the energy loss.
