Title:
HEAT PIPE RETAINING STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3857774
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pipe retaining structure which can enhance its strength to retain a base portion to a condensing portion as firmly as possible.
SOLUTION: A heat pipe retaining structure includes a base portion 1 which is brought into contact with a heat generating source and heat pipes 16, 17 which are retained on a retaining surface 5 of the base portion 1, wherein the heat pipes 16, 17 comprise vaporizing portions 19, 20, 23, 24 which are brought into contact with the retaining surfaces 5 of the base portion 1 and condensing portions 21, 25 which are connected with vaporizing portions 19, 20, 23, 24 and are extended upwardly from the retaining surface 5. In such a construction, the vaporizing portions 19, 20 are bent in an approximately L-shape in a planar direction within the area of the retaining surface 5, while the vaporizing portions 23, 24 are bent in an approximately L-shape in a planar direction within the area of the retaining surface.
