Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a heat pipe of a monogroove type in which flowing of fluid is not stopped.
CONSTITUTION: A monogroove type heat pipe 1 has a vapor passage 7 and a liquid passage 6 communicating with each other and disposed in parallel with each other. A conical mesh electrode 4 convergent toward a liquid flow 10 is disposed in the passage 6 of the pipe 1 to operate an electric distortion force at operating medium in the passage 6 by the electrode 4. Since a liquid flow 10 is accelerated, the flow of the liquid is not stopped even under a microgravity to assure a desired heat transfer power.
