PURPOSE: To make it possible to largely take a heat carrying distance and to easily use either or both of a heating medium and a cooling medium even if it is a liquid or a solid by such an organization that an inner cylinder communicating with an enclosed hollow vessel at a high-temperature side end part and with the enclosed hollow vessel at the lower temperature side end part rotates around a shaft extending from the high-temperature side to the low-temperature side.
CONSTITUTION: An inner cylinder 3 is tapered gradually thinly from a high-temperature side D to a low temperature side E. When an AC current is fed to electromagnetic coils 11, the inner cylinder 3 having permanent magnets 9 and 10 within a container 1 because of a rotary magnetic field begins to rotate around a shaft 8, and a condensate 2 of the heat medium at the bottom part of the container 1 is carried along the inner surface of the tapered inner cylinder 3 toward the upper part, that is, the high temperature side D. Thus, the condensate 2 is blown toward the inner surface on the high-temperature side D of the container 1 by the centrifugal force through the holes 7 of the inner cylinder 3 and the opening part on the end surface of the high temperature side D. The heat medium vapor is cooled on the low-temperature side E of the container 1, and is condensed. This circulation is repeated and heat carrying is performed. Thus, a heat pipe of a top heat mode is formed.
