PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat and pressure application device that can suppress the occurrence of curl when conveying and applying heat and pressure to a releasable information sheet, which has been folded and crimped two or more times, while forming a nip, and can provide a releasable information sheet maintaining good image quality even when being released more than once.SOLUTION: There is provided a heat and pressure application device that applies heat and pressure to a releasable information sheet in which an energy ray curable composition is applied to and cured on a recording medium to which a toner image is fixed and the recording medium is folded two or more times, the device including heat and pressure application means for applying heat and pressure to the releasable information sheet with a nip part that holds the sheet, where the nip part in the heat and pressure application means has a planar shape.
