In heat protectors 10 and 10A which are disposed with a space S from an object to be shielded which is one of a hot member 21 and a peripheral component 41 in order to shield the hot member 21 and the peripheral component 41 of an internal combustion engine, heat-resistant sheet-like members 11 and 11A to prevent circulation of air between the space part S and the outside O by closing a clearance part C are provided on the heat protector 10 and 10A at least on a part of the heat protectors 10 and 10A when the heat protectors 10 and 10A are assembled while separating from the internal combustion engine 20.
