To provide a hot water storage type heat pump bath hot water supply device in which durability and an operating efficiency are improved.
A hot water supply device comprises a refrigerant circuit having a compressor 1, a hot water supply heat exchanger 2, a pressure reducing device 3, and heat exchanger 4 using a waste heat; a hot water supply circuit having a hot water storage tank 5, the hot water supply heat exchanger 2, and a hot water supply circulating pump 6; a bath water circuit having a bath tub 7, the exchanger 4 using heat waste heat, and a bath circulating pump 8; a refrigerant state detecting means 10 for detecting at least one state of the refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit; and a control means 9 for controlling the opening degree of a valve of the pressure reducing device 3, so that a signal from the refrigerant state detecting means 10 becomes a prescribed value upon bath tub waste heat using hot water supply operation. Thus, a suitable refrigerant is always circulated to the refrigerant circuit. An abnormal rise of temperature or an abnormal rise of pressure is not generated. Thus, the durability is high and the operating efficiency can be improved.
