PURPOSE: To reduce lowering of energy efficiency during variation of a composition and to enable the increase of capacity and the efficiency of a device by a method wherein a container sealed with a material apable of producing a refrigerant and a molecule aggregate is connected through a first on-off valve to a piping running between a condenser and a throttle device, and connected through a second on-off valve to a piping between a vaporizer and a compressor, and a heat exchange means is provided between the container and the vaporizer.
CONSTITUTION: In a mode where separation is ascent, by closing a first on-off valve 16 and opening a second on-off valve 17, most of a refrigerant to finally produce a clathrate in a container 15 flows in a main circuit, and operation is effected in a state that a composition of a mixture refrigerant is left as it is. In this case, a cold heat is generated through decomposition reaction of clathrate in the container 15, and can be used in a vaporizer 14 through a heat exchanger 18. In a mode where separation is present, by opening the on-off valve 16 and closing the on-off valve 17, a refrigerant condensed by a condenser 12 flows in the container 15 to produce a clathrate, which is stored in the container 15. As a result, a refrigerant circulating through the main circuit produces a substance abundant in a low boiling point refrigerant. In this case, a hot heat is generated in the container 15 through production reaction, and a cold heat generated by the vaporizer 14 can be used through the heat exchanger 18.
