To provide a heat pump system that prevents the frosting of a heat exchanger for heat-exchanging air without operating a defroster, and is enabled in frost-free (non-frosting) operation.
The heat pump system comprises: a compressor 1 which compresses a refrigerant; a first heat exchanger 2 which heats a medium to be heated by using the high-temperature high-pressure refrigerant compressed by the compressor 1; a first expansion valve 3 for expanding the refrigerant which is heat-exchanged by the first heat exchanger 2; a second heat exchanger 4 being a heat exchanger having an adsorption material which evaporates the low-temperature refrigerant expanded by the first expansion valve 3, and heat-exchanges it with air; a third heat exchanger 6 being an air heat exchanger for further heat-exchanging the refrigerant which is evaporated by the second heat exchanger 4 and heat-exchanged with air with the air, and returns it to the compressor 1; a second expansion valve 5 arranged between the outlet side of the second heat exchanger 4 and the inlet side of the third heat exchanger 6 ; and an air flow path 7 which makes the air heat-exchanged by the second heat exchanger 4 and the third heat exchanger 6 circulate toward the side of the third heat exchanger 6 from the side of the second heat exchanger 4.
