To provide a heat pump type hot water supply apparatus capable of controlling boiling-up hot water supply that can cope with a resistance change in piping caused by on-site facility construction and aged use.

The heat pump type hot water supply apparatus comprises an inflow side pressure sensor 145 and an outflow side pressure sensor 146 serving as differential pressure detecting means for detecting differential pressure across a heat exchanger 112 for hot water supply, and a control device for performing adjustment control of the circulating flow rate of a fluid for hot water supply in performing boiling-up hot water supply in a hot water storage tank 130 based on differential pressure data detected by the differential pressure detecting means in the initial boiling-up hot water supply control. This constitution can attain boiling-up hot water supply control that can cope with the occurrence of a change in resistance in piping compared with the initial time.
