Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type water heater capable of suppressing freezing of a refrigerant in a heat source side circulation circuit only by control on a heat pump circuit side, without changing a circulation state of the refrigerant in the heat source side circulation circuit.SOLUTION: A heat pump type water heater 2 includes a heat source side circulation circuit 20, a heat pump circuit 21, and a control device for controlling a compressor 35 and a pressure-reducing valve 37, and a temperature sensor 34 for measuring the temperature of a first refrigerant is provided. When the temperature measured by the temperature sensor 34 becomes equal to or lower than a threshold temperature, the control device changes an operation state of at least one of the compressor 35 and the pressure-reducing valve 37 so that a temperature difference between an inlet temperature of water flowing into a water-refrigerant heat exchanger 36 and an outlet temperature of a second refrigerant flowing out from the water-refrigerant heat exchanger 36 becomes large.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
