PURPOSE: To obtain a heat pump type refrigerating device, capable of condensing brine while continuing the operation of the refrigerating device when the concentration of the brine, employed for a heating tower in winter, is lowered and effecting continuous operation without deteriorating the capacity thereof in the condition of low atmospheric temperature and high humidity in winter.

CONSTITUTION: A brine concentration control device 36 with a brine heater 33 is provided different from a heating tower 6. The brine heater 33 of the concentration control device 36 communicated with the high-pressure refrigerant side of a refrigerating circuit through a communicating tube 47 equipped with an opening and closing valve 49. When the concentration of brine has become lower than a predetermined value in winter, the opening and closing valve 49 is opened to heat the brine by the high-pressure side refrigerant of the refrigerating circuit and the brine can be condensed while continuing the operation of the refrigerating device.
