Title:
HEAT PUMP WATER HEATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009085565
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a heat pump water heater compact in size capable of simplifying pipe laying work at a site and also being installed in a narrow place.

A heat pump circuit 1 is composed by annularly connecting a compressor 2, a radiator 3, a pressure reducing means 4, and an evaporator 5. Water is fed to the radiator 3 by a heat storage pump 7 and hot water produced by heating water by the radiator 3 is circulated to a heat storage tank 41 containing a built-in latent heat storage body 42. Thereby, the latent heat storage body 42 stores heat. The heat pump circuit 1 and the heat storage tank 41 are arranged in one casing 44. Since a latent heat storage material 42 is used as a heat storage material in the heat storage tank 41, a heat capacity can be increased in comparison with water. Since the heat pump circuit 1 and the heat storage tank 41 are stored in one casing 44, the pipe laying work can be simplified in the site.
