To improve the heat exchange effectiveness of a vaporizer, which has a simple structure for controlling the quantity of heat of liquefied material gas including town gas, for its stable temperature elevation and vaporization, without causing additional arrangement of heat exchanger panels and complexity in the pipe arrangement.
A heat quantity controller for liquefied natural gas vaporizes natural gas with its front-stage open-rack type vaporizer 10 and mixes the vaporized natural gas with liquefied petroleum gas used for heat quantity control to elevate the temperature of the natural gas with its rear-stage open-rack type heat exchanger 20. That controller need not generate natural gas of zero or higher degrees in the front stage, which thus lessens the load on the front stage, reduces the number of heat exchanger panels used, and enables the use of a double-piped open-rack type vaporizer free of icing up. The controller involves a sparger arranged in an header tank 21 in the rear stage to homogeneously mix natural gas with a predetermined amount of liquefied petroleum gas, which thus permits efficient temperature liquefied and vaporization, and stable supply of natural gas having a predetermined quantity of heat adjusted.
