Abstract:
To provide a heat radiation light source that can selectively and efficiently extract infrared rays of multiple wavelengths and that can easily be made smaller and consume less power.SOLUTION: The heat radiation light source includes an electro-thermal conversion unit 30 that generates Joule heat when an electric current is applied thereto and a radiating unit 20 that is provided on one side of the electro-thermal conversion unit 30 and has a plurality of cavities of different depths or opening dimensions and emits Joule heat directly or indirectly to the outside world as light including infrared rays.
