Abstract:

To provide a heat radiation material having excellent thermal conductivity and insulating property at a low cost.

The heat radiation material has a composite material comprising a ceramic and aluminum and having an alumite layer formed at least on one surface of the composite material. The ceramic is particularly preferably SiC and the alumite layer preferably comprises columnar or projection-shaped alumite. The ceramic is preferably SiC.
