Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat radiation member producible to a wide range of metal substrates, capable of securing reliability and durability in a wide temperature area, and to provide a production method thereof.SOLUTION: A heat radiation member includes a metal substrate 2 constituted of a first metal material, and a plurality of heat radiation parts 3, etc., containing a second metal material which is different from the first metal material, and adhering separately and dispersedly onto the surface of the metal substrate 2. Each heat radiation part 3 contains an oxide formed by oxidizing the second metal material, and the oxide formed by oxidizing the second metal material is exposed on the surface of each heat radiation part 3.
