This is a heat radiation structure for lighting equipment 1, and the LED lamp 7 is housed in a case which is formed by a material superior in heat radiation such as aluminum, and the case is provided in contact with the base body superior in heat radiation such as aluminum, and by energizing the case by a spring 9, both are crimped at the contacting part of the case and the base body and the case is depressed by providing an elastic body such as a spring, and a high heat radiation function is obtained. Thereby, at a low cost and with good working performance, the life of the LED lamp and the lighting equipment can be prolonged, and a steady heat radiation route is formed for the heat generated by the LED lamp housed in the case.
