To provide a heat recovery device capable of performing highly efficient heat recovery while saving space.
In a heat recovery device for performing heat recovery from a high-temperature filler such as melted slag, an inclination part 6 getting to higher as proceeding inward from just front side on which a cover 1 is fit is disposed on a feeding port 5 for feeding the filler, wheels 4 are attached to right and left of the cover 1 of the feeding port 5, an upper side guide rail 2 and a lower side guide rail 3 which sandwich the wheels 4 up and down and slide the wheels are disposed, when the cover 1 is closed, the cover 1 is caused to slide with the wheels 4 sandwiched by the upper side guide rail 2 and the lower side guide rail 3, the cover 1 incidental to the wheels 4 is pushed into the inclination part 6 of the feeding port 5, the wheels 4 is pushed against the upper side guide rail 2 and, at the same time, a cover 1 is tightly closed against the inclined feeding port 5 with a pushing pressure from the wheel 4 which is brought into contact with the upper guide rail 2.
