A cooling pipe supporting member 35 for supporting a cooling pipe 40 with supporting bars 33a, 33b of a heat regenerator body 30 is constituted of a cooling pipe supporting plate 36 through which the supporting bars 33a, 33b are passed, and a cooling pipe fixing member 37 detachably mounted to the cooling pipe supporting plate 36 without passing the supporting bars 33a, 33b for fixing the cooling pipe 40 to the supporting plate 36. As a result, manhour for passing the bars 33a, 33b for the cooling pipe supporting member 35 are reduced. The cooling pipe supporting plate 36 is formed of members having excellent heat conductivity such as aluminum and the like, and the contact surface with a heat regenerating member 10 of the supporting plate 36 is substantially developed all over a heat conductive case 20. Therefore, cold of the cooling pipe 20 is rapidly transferred to the heat regenerating member 10 through the cooling pipe supporting plate 36.
