Title:
HEAT REGENERATING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5759981
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: An inexpensive, regenerating material preventing supercooling phenomena of sodium acetate 3 hydrate, exhibiting stable endothermic and exothermic performance, having a large quantity of regenerating heat per unit volume or mass, obtained by adding sodium pyrophosphate to sodium acetate 3 hydrate.

CONSTITUTION: (A) Preferably 100pts.wt. sodium acetate 3 hydrate is blended with (B) 0.5W15pts.wt. sodium pyrophosphate (preferably 10 hydrate) having small particle diameters as a crystal nucleus forming agent, to five the desired regenerating agent. Anhydrous sodium acetate may be added to the material during melting of the component A, and a viscosity builder, e.g., carboxylmethyl cellulose, sepiolite clay for preventing sedimention and agglomeration of the component B may be added.
