Abstract:

To enable checking not only for the safety but also for the health condition of a person served by checking to see if the person served takes a meal from a long distance.

A heat reserving container 1 for distributing meals for house holds is provided with a container body 2 for distributing the meals and a lid body 5 to detachably cover an upper part of the container body 2. In the container body 2, a means is arranged to detect changes in the condition of the container body 2 after delivered to the person served, a control section 12 and a wireless transmitter 13. The control section 12 judges that the person served takes the meal by detecting changes in the condition of the container body 2 by a detection means. The results of the judgment are transmitted to an external managing means outside the house hold by the wireless transmitter 13. The detection means herein used is a weight sensor 10 to detect the weight of food, a temperature sensor to detect the temperature of a housing part of the foods or a lid sensor to detects that a lid body is opened.
