Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the creep rupture strength at high temp. by adding prescribed percentages of C, Si, Mn, Ni, Cr and Cu.
CONSTITUTION: This heat resistant austenitic stainless steel consists of, by weight, 0.05W0.2% C, ≤1% Si, ≤2% Mn, 8W24% Ni, 15W26% Cr, 2W4% Cu and the balance Fe. In the composition, the Ni content is ≤6 times the Cu content.
