Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject coating excellent in abrasion resistance even in use at high temperatures (≥400°C) by blending a specific resin such as a polyborosiloxane resin with fluororesin powder, glass fiber and an organic filler in a specific proportion.

CONSTITUTION: The objective coating is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. one or more resins selected from the group of polyborosiloxane resins, polycarbosilane resins, polysilastyrene resins, polytitanocarbosilane resins and polysilazane resins with (B) 20-200 pts.wt. fluororesin powder (e.g. tetrafluoroethylene resin powder), (C) 40-150 pts.wt. glass fiber [preferably having 10-300μm length (1), 1-30μm diameter (d) and 2-100 ratio of (l/d)] and (D) 60-300 pts.wt. inorganic filler (e.g. Al2O3 or SiO2).
