Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a lightweight heat resistant and flame-resistant heat barrier sheet simple to connect by sewing surface adhesive fasteners on both ends of a sheet obtained by applying an aluminum film to the surface of an aramide fiber fabric and opening grommet holes to both upper and lower ends thereof.
CONSTITUTION: Aluminum foil is applied to the surface of a fabric or nonwoven fabric based on an aromatic polyaramide fiber to form a surface fabric A. The edges of the surface fabric A and lining B composed of a fabric based on an aromatic polyaramide fiber are sewn by heat-resistant yarn to obtain a sheet. Both ends of the A-surface of a heat-resistant surface adhesive tape (C), that is, the protruding surface thereof are sewn on the right-hand edge of the sheet on the surface side thereof and the B-surface of a heat-resistant surface adhesive tape (C), that is, the recessed surface thereof is sewn on the left-hand edge of the sheet to connect the sheet to a continuous sheet. Force fabric tapes (D) are sewn on the upper and under surfaces of the sheet in a strip like state and grommet holes E are opened to the sheet at the positions of the strip like force fabrics. As sewing yarn F, heat-resistant fiber yarn is used. By this constitution, the protective environment of human life and an article weak against heat can be formed within a short time.
