Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare a heat-resistant impregnation resin composition useful as insulating materials for vehicle motors, mill motors, etc. and having a freely controllable pot life and excellent impregnating ability, adhesive property, etc., by compounding an allylphenol compound with specific mixed maleimide compounds.
CONSTITUTION: A thermosetting polyimide resin composition comprising (A) an allylphenol compound, e.g. prepared by condensing an allyl halide with a phenol compound, and (B) a mixture of maleimide compounds containing 5W80 wt% of a monomaleimide.
EFFECT: The composition has a low viscosity and excellent impregnating or casting ability.
