To provide a heat-resistant masking tape using, as a base, a crosslinked polyvinyl chloride-based film having good follow up ability to a curved surface, suppressing the discoloring of the base even when exposed to a hot environment, and preventing the occurrence of an adhesive deposit of a self-adhesive layer.

The heat-resistant masking tape has a removable self-adhesive layer on one surface of a crosslinked polyvinyl chloride-based film base, wherein the removable self-adhesive layer is formed of an acrylic emulsion type self-adhesive containing a cyclic compound having a double bond within the ring, and a color difference ΔE of the masking tape before and after heat treatment at 190°C for 40 min is ≤27.
