PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the heat resistance as well as mounting property to a door body of a packing material for mounting on the door of a heating cooking machine.
SOLUTION: A packing material P comprises a packing material body and tubular heat-resistant cloth 30 having a prescribed circumferential slack when the packing material body is inserted therein. The packing material body comprises an elastically deformative seal portion 11 serving for sealing when pressed elastically against a close contact face Ca facing the opening of a cooking machine body C, and a fixing spigot portion 12 integrally molded with the seal portion 11 for sealing insertion into a fixing groove 1 cut in an edge of an internal surface Da of a door body D. With the packing material body inserted in the tubular heat-resistant cloth 30, the insertion of the fixing spigot portion 12 of the packing material body into the fixing groove l in the door body D absorbs the circumferential slack of the tubular heat-resistant cloth 30 so that the overall periphery of the packing material body is covered tight in the tubular heat-resistant cloth 30.
