Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light and soft heat-resistant protective wear having settled conventional problems, excellent in chemical resistance and water resistance, improved in thermal insulating properties by effectively forming an air layer without increasing much weight and improved in wear feeling by imparting moisture permeability.
SOLUTION: This protective wear has a composite construction comprising a face side fabric layer, an intermediate layer and a thermal insulation layer and the face side fabric layer, the intermediate layer and the thermal insulation layer simultaneously satisfy the following (a) to (c) requirements; (a) The face side is composed of a meta-aramid fiber and a para-aramide fiber. (b) The intermediate layer has a combination of moisture permeability with waterproofness. (c) The thermal insulation layer is composed of a woven/knit fabric having ≥0.07 cm air content V.
