Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat resistant and radiation resistant composition useful for coating material for a wire and a cable used in the periphery of a fast breeder reactor, a fusion reactor and the like, having heat resistant temperature of 270°C or more, and superior in radiation resistance, and provide the cable, a robot, and a molding using the same.
SOLUTION: This composition comprises as a main component thermoplastic polyimide having a repetition unit expressed by the formula as a basic skeleton. As the thermoplastic polyimide, the thermoplastic polyimide of crystallinity exceeding 5% after ten minute heating at a temperature of 320°C and thermoplastic polyimide of the crystallinity of 5% or less after ten minute heating at a temperature of 320°C, are mixed so as to be in a range of 10 to 90 wt.% respectively and used. The composition is coated on the outer periphery of a conductor so as to constitute a cable, and a robot is constituted using the cable. The composition is molded into a predetermined shape so as to constitute a molding.
