Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the heat resistance of a cylinder head and prevent a stained phenomenon or generation of heat spots.
CONSTITUTION: A wall 22 to constitute a combustion chamber 18 in a cylinder head 2 is made of a composite material using aluminum alloy matrix, and the contacting surface 28 of the wall 22 is subjected to plating, and the wall 22 is attached to the head combustion chamber part 4 by means of pressure fitting, cold fit, cast inclusion, thread formation, and heat application.
