Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally fusible conjugate fiber wherein the phase boundary peeling between the first and second components is inhibited, to provide a fiber formed article which is formed from the thermally fusible conjugate fibers and has a high tensile strength and an excellent touch, and to provide a fiber product. SOLUTION: This thermally fusible conjugate fiber comprising the first component and the second component is characterized by forming at least one portion of the surface of the conjugate fiber continuously in the fiber longitudinal direction from the second component and by using polyethylene resin containing 1 to 20 wt.% of at least one of a terpene resin, a hydrogenated terpene resin, a terpene phenol resin and an aromatic modified terpene resin as the second component.
