Title:
HEAT-SENSITIVE COPYING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58128895
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a color image with a small quantity of heat, by a method wherein a heat-insulating layer capable of transmitting at least infrared rays is provided on an infrared ray transmitting substrate, a heat-sensitive copying paper and an original copy and brought into close contact with the heat-insulating layer, and rays of light including infrared rays are irradiated from the copying paper side.

CONSTITUTION: The heat-insulating layer 16 capable of transmitting at least infrared rays is provided on the infrared ray transmitting substrate 11, the heat- sensitive copying paper 12 provided with a heat-sensitive layer 12' and the original copy 13 are brought into close contact with the heat-insulating layer 16, and optical energy from a light source such as an infrared-ray lamp is irradiated through the substrate 11. In this case, the quantity of light given to image parts 14 of the original copy 13 is so adjusted that the color producing temperature of the regions 15 of the heat-sensitive layer 12' corresponding to the image parts 14 is not exceeded. As a result, the desired stable and clear image is obtained.
