Title:
HEAT-SENSITIVE RECORDING BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002264509
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a heat-sensitive recording body wherein visual reading of a recorded section is possible even when the heat-sensitive recording body after recording comes into contact with a heat source at a coloring temperature or higher.

This heat-sensitive recording body has at least a heat-sensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye and a color developer on a supporting body. In such a heat-sensitive recording body, the optical density of the recorded section A which has been recorded from the heat-sensitive recording layer side by an energy of 50 mJ/mm2 by a thermal head is 1.00 or higher. Also, the optical density of a recorded section A' which is obtained by bringing the recorded section A into contact with a hot plate of 170°C for 5 seconds is made lower than the optical density of a base section B' which is obtained by bringing the base section B of the heat-sensitive recording body into contact with the hot plate of 170°C for 5 seconds to make the visual reading of the recording section possible.
