Title:
HEAT-SENSITIVE RECORDING BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0740662
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a heat-sensitive recording body wherein a heat-sensitive coloring layer, an intermediate layer and a gloss layer of resin set by ionizing radiation are provided at least on one or both surfaces of a supporting body and which has faborable adhesion between the gloss layer and intermediate layer by adding a water-dispersion-type resin of a specific volume to the solid component of the intermediate layer into the intermediate layer.

CONSTITUTION: At least on one surface of a supporting body, there is provided a heat-sensitive coloring layer containing, as main components, a colorless or light-color electron-donating leuco dye, an organic acid substance letting the leuco dye develope color with heat and an adhesive. An intermediate layer containing a water-dispersion-type resin, a water soluble resin and a pigment as main components is provided on the heat-sensitive coloring layer. Moreover, a gloss layer containing a resin set by ionizing radiation is formed on the intermediate layer. The water-dispersion-type resin having -40W20°C glass transition temperature is added 30-80wt.% to the solid component of the intermediate layer. Accordingly, the bonding properties between the gloss layer and intermediate layer are favorable in this heat-sensitive recording body.
