Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a violet to cyan coloring type diazo heat-sensitive recording material which is excellent in shelf life, image preservation property and image fixing property, and of which the hue is improved.
SOLUTION: In this heat-sensitive recording material wherein on a supporting body, a heat-sensitive recording layer containing a diazonium salt compound and a coupler, is provided, in the heat-sensitive recording layer, a pyrolotriazinone compound represented by a formula is contained as the coupler. In the formula, R1 and R2 each represent a hydrogen atom, an aryl group, an alkyl group, a cyano group, an acyl group, a substituted carbamoyl group, an alkoxy carbonyl group, an aryloxy carbonyl group, a substituted amino group, an alkyl sulfonyl group, an aryl sulfonyl group, or a substituted sulfamoyl group, and R3 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an aryl group, an alkyl group, an acyl group, an alkoxy carbonyl group, a substituted amino group, a hydroxy group, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, a mercapto group, an alkylthio group or an arylthio group.
