Title:
HEAT-SENSITIVE TRANSFER IMAGE RECEIVING SHEET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06247060
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a heat-sensitive transfer image receiving sheet, which has high heat resistance and causes no lowering of gloss even at high temperature printing.

CONSTITUTION: In the heat-sensitive transfer image receiving sheet concerned produced by laminating precoating layer mainly constituting of polypropylene copolymer resin and image receiving layer mainly constituting of thermoplastic resin on support in the order named, the polypropylene copolymer resin in the copolymer of propylene and one or more kind of compound selected from the group consisting of alkenylsilane and nonconjugative diene and treated so as to have the gel fraction thermally extracted with m-xylene of 20% or more. Due to high gel fraction at elevated temperature, the polypropylene copolymer resin causes no thermal shrinkage, resulting in obtaining heat-sensitive transfer image receiving sheet, which causes neither lowering of gloss at printing and nor blocking with donor sheet.
