Title:
HEAT-SENSITIVE TRANSFER RECORDING MEDIUM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014156097
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive transfer recording medium without causing scumming during printing even if stored under a high temperature-high humidity environment (40°C 90%, 50°C dry).SOLUTION: There is provided a heat-sensitive transfer recording medium 1 in which a heat-resistant resin layer 40 as a heat-resistant sliding layer is provided on one surface (rear surface) of a substrate 10 and a dye layer 30 in which a sublimable dye is contained in a binder resin is provided on the other surface. The binder resin used for the dye layer 30 contains a graft copolymer of a polyvinyl acetal and a polyvinyl pyrrolidone. In addition, in the heat-sensitive transfer recording medium 1, the copolymer preferably has an acetalization degree of 60 mol% or more and 80 mol% or less and the ratio of the polyvinyl segment preferably is 10 mol% or more and 30 mol% or less. Further, in the heat-sensitive transfer recording medium 1, the copolymer preferably has polymerization degree of 1000 or more and 2500 or less.
