Abstract:
To provide a heat shield coating composition for tire which can exhibit excellent rolling resistance performance even when frequency of performing short-distance traveling is increased, a method for coating the same, and a pneumatic tire using the same.SOLUTION: A coating layer 40 having heat insulation property is formed in a latter process by an operation of arbitrary applying a heat shield coating composition for tire, which is formed by mixing a particulate hollow body in a base material formed from emulsion formed by emulsification of a polymer having a glass transition temperature of 0°C or lower and has a weight ratio of the polymer to the particular hollow body of polymer: particular hollow body=8:2 to 4:6, onto an outer surface of a side wall part 2 of the pneumatic tire after vulcanization as an addition member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
