Abstract:
PURPOSE:To produce a heat-shrinkable film which, even when it is not plasticized, has shrinking properties equivalent to those of a conventional plasticized heat-shrinkable film and is improved in antistatic properties by using a vinyl chloride block copolymer containing a polymer part composed of repeating ethylene oxide units. CONSTITUTION:This heat-shrinkable film is formed from a resin composition based on a mixture of a block copolymer (A) containing a polymer part (A1) composed of repeating units of formula I and a polymer part (A2) based on a vinyl chloride with a polymer (B) based on vinyl chloride. The proportion of the amount of polymer part (A1) as a whole is about 2-30wt.% based on the above mixture. The number of the repeating units of polymer part (A1) in the block copolymer (A) is usually about 5-1000. The above resin mixture can be easily obtained by polymerizing a vinyl chloride monomer or copolymerizing a vinyl chloride monomer with another comonomer by using a macroazo initiator.
