Title:
HEAT SHRINKABLE LABEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3452386
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve adhesion of ink and to eliminate shrinkage of a film with lapse of time by providing a primer layer consisting of a specific water- based dispersion of polyurethane on a heat shrinkable film surface and printing a water-based printing ink thereon.
CONSTITUTION: The primer layer consisting of the water-based dispersion of polyurethane and a printed layer printed by the water-based printing ink are successively provided on the heat shrinkable film surface. Heat shrinkage factor in one direction of the heat shrinkable film is ≥30%, preferably ≥50%. The water-based dispersion of polyurethane is a water-based dispersion of polyurethane-urea resin obtained, for example, by a method described below: a tertiary amine is added to a urethane polymer contg. isocyanate terminal groups and carboxyl groups to neutralize 80 to 95% of the carboxyl groups and the residual carboxyl groups at 20 to 5% in the resultant water-based dispersion of urethane-urea resion intermediate contg. carboxyl groups obtd. by chain propagation reaction are neutralized with a polyamide resin.
