PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-shrinkable polyester-based film roll capable of cutting out a film for covering a container excellent in stable processability and printability in good yield.
SOLUTION: A film roll for rolling up the heat-shrinkable polyester-based film in which the heat shrinkage factor of in maximum shrinkage direction at 85°C is ≥20% is used. In the film roll, a melt specific resistance value at 275°C of a sample cut out from the roll is ≤0.70×108 Ω.cm and when a plurality of samples are cut out over the entire stationary region of the film rolled around the roll, a thickness distribution value represented by the formula: thickness distribution value = (maximum thickness-minimum thickness)/average thickness ×100 is ≤7% in the sample of each cut out place.
