Abstract:
To provide a heat-shrinkable polyester film having sufficient heat shrinkage characteristics in a longitudinal direction, low shrinkage stress in the longitudinal direction, high heat sealability between films, preventing deformation of an object to be packaged at the time of shrinkage, and hardly causing peeling of a heat seal part.SOLUTION: The heat-shrinkable polyester film satisfies the following requirements (1)-(4): (1) a difference in refractive index between the film longitudinal direction and width direction is equal to or more than 0.04 and equal to or less than 0.12; (2) a longitudinal shrinkage rate is equal to or more than 40% and equal to or less than 80% in the longitudinal direction after immersion in warm water at 90°C for 10 seconds; (3) a maximum shrinkage stress in the film longitudinal direction is equal to or more than 2 MPa or more and equal to or less than 5 MPa when measured by hot air at 90°C; and (4) a peeling strength is equal to or more than 3.0 N/15 mm or more and equal to or less than 20.0 N/15 mm after heat sealing the films at a temperature of 130°C and a pressure of 2 kg/cm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
