Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To amplify a sound wave of a loop pipe by a thermoacoustic device.SOLUTION: A thermoacoustic device 10 comprises: a loop pipe 3; a first stack 13 and a second stack 23 arranged in the loop pipe 3; a first high temperature-side heat exchanger 14 making one end of the first stack 13 higher in temperature than the other end of the fist stack 13; a first low temperature-side heat exchanger 12 which makes the other end of the first stack 13 lower in temperature than the one end; a second high temperature-side heat exchanger 24 arranged at an end facing the first high temperature-side heat exchanger 14 between both ends of the second stack 23; a second low temperature-side heat exchanger 22 arranged at an end facing the first low temperature-side heat exchanger 12 between both the ends of the second stack 23; and a first diaphragm 4 arranged in the loop pipe 3 between the end of the second stack 23 where the second high temperature-side heat exchanger 24 is arranged and the one end of the first stack 13, and can vibrate in the axial direction of the loop pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
