Title:
HEAT SOURCE FOR HOT-AIR GENERATING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58136935
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the product of a title device having the performances such as quick rising in temperature of its electrically heated wire, superior heat exchange rate and small size with high safety efficiency by a method wherein both ends of a electrically heated wire with coil-shape is connectingly supported by holding fixtures made of the heat-resistant insulating material, and a heat source is formed by fixing said electrically heated wire to a enamelled metal cylinder.

CONSTITUTION: A frame body 1 with U-shape cross section is formed of enamelled iron plate, a cylinder 9 is formed by jointing a similarly enamelled covering body 6 to a flange part 2 of said frame body 1. Holding fixtures 11 made of the heat-resistant insulating mateial are fixed to a cut and set up part 8 arranged on said covering body 6 at the location correspond to both side walls of the frame body 1, further, terminals 10 made of the stainless steel are penetrated through the holding fixtures 11 and fixed to said holding fixtures 11 with push nuts 12 made of stainless steel. Also, a coil-shape electrical heated wire 14 is connected between both terminals 10 inside of the cylinder 9. Thereby, the heat source for the hot-air generating device having the excellent heat exchange rate and the small size with high safety can be produced at a low cost due to its structure having the quick rising in temperature and the good surface contact with the air.
